On August 26th (aka National Dog Day), Rady Children's Hospital is teaming up with CBS8 for the 2nd annual Working Fur Kids Giveathon, a day dedicated to raising funds and awareness to develop a Rady Children’s Resident Canine Therapy Program. These pups will have a very important job just like me – to bring a special kind of magic that inspires joy, connection, and warmth - the only difference is that they will be medically trained pros teamed with a certified therapist providing round the clock patient care to kiddos who need them the most. 

I am thrilled to bark about the cause! Each dollar raised will help establish this incredible program! I am a firm believer that healing isn't just about medicine, but companionship and the kind of love only a dog can give.
