Welcome to our fundraising page to support The Nancy B. Haney Endowed Fund for Physical Therapy Education
The Nancy B. Haney Endowed Fund was established with an initial gift by Dr. David N. Haney to honor the legacy of Nancy “Nan” Haney, a cherished member of the Rady Children’s family and a leader in the Physical Therapy Department.
Joining Rady Children’s in 1988, Nan brought expertise in pediatric and infant neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT) and TAMO movement disorder therapy. As a physical therapy team leader, she was instrumental in recruiting, training, and supporting top-tier pediatric and sports medicine physical therapists to deliver cutting-edge care to San Diego’s children and adolescents.
Nan’s contributions extended beyond clinical care, with research that advanced the field of physical therapy, including publications on congenital muscular torticollis and therapy reliability (linked below).
We are profoundly grateful for Nan’s dedication to Rady Children’s, her impact on physical therapy, and her service to the community.
Our goal is to grow the endowments to $100,000. Your gift will help us reach that goal and support continuing education for the Rady Children's Physical Therapy department, including guest lectures focused on innovative approaches to physical therapy treatment.
If you would like to make a donation in a manner other than online, please contact Alden Domini, [email protected].
