Using my grief to help save lives for the Dr. Paul Grossfeld Heart Research Fund
Thanks for visiting my page!
In 1997 my husband and I lost our son Thomas William Turner to Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. When he died, doctors had no idea what the cause of this congenital heart defect was. But through efforts like those of Dr Paul Grossfeld who is researching the causes of HLHS, we are getting closer to getting answers about what caused my son's life-ending condition.
Research like Dr Grossfeld's takes a lot of collaboration, a lot of dedication, a lot of time, and a lot of funding. Would you be willing to help fund this research?
Every dollar counts. My personal goal is to raise $5000.00 so that I can help fund Dr Paul Grossfeld's research at the hospital. Maybe some day no one will have to say good bye to someone they love because of a devastating congenital heart defect like Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.
Will you help me?
